FUNDS GENERATED TO UNIVERSITY
a. An MoU
was signed between Dean Agriculture Prof.Ibrahim Umar and West African
Agricultural productivity programme (WAPP) in 2016 and the sum of twenty
million (#20,000,000.00) was released as grant for extension services and to
improve the teaching of practical Agriculture in secondary schools
in Girei and song LGAs of Adamawa State.
b. During my
tenure as Dean of Agriculture. I set up a library Fund for the School of
Agriculture in 2016, the first in the history of the University. The
contributions came from staff and students of the school, as of January 2024 we
have generated over thirty million which we finance purchase of library
materials and SIWES without assistance from the University.
